Regenesis: Cyberpunk 2080 is a follow up setting in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, the 2020 action role-playing game developed by CD Projekt Red. In this story, you play as Davi “Teko” Almeida, a former Biotechnica employee. Biotechnica is a powerful megacorporation focused on environmental restoration—but in pursuit of their goals, they show no concern for the harm they cause to living beings.
After uncovering their dark secrets, Davi betrays the corporation and escapes with classified information. He finds refuge with the Aldecaldos, a nomadic gang living in the Badlands outside the city. Armed with biotech expertise and survival skills, Davi aids the Aldecaldos and sets out to undo the damage caused by the corporations, fighting to restore life in a world where nature is nearly extinct.
