In the Altaterra project, agricultural origins such as the Karabaglar region but urbanization regions remind us of their own roots in time, the rising city and increasing population limit the living spaces in the city and cause us to squeeze into the same spaces and opportunities. The main purpose is to create a resistance to the city that rises in time, to create functional areas and to create accessible spaces for everyone. Many different human profiles live together in cities. My aim is to create a structure that everyone can benefit from but reduces conflicts thanks to the separate structure of the building. The horizontally designed structure prioritizes the protection of the few remaining empty spaces in the city. While reducing the feeling of oppression that people experience in the face of growing cities, it also offers all the opportunities offered by a high-rise building in the interior with the principle of small is big. The structure, which facilitates access thanks to its unifying structure, has the potential to become a center of attraction for people over time. Designed with the principle of small is big as its main purpose, the structure reminds us of the roots of the city and offers unification and function together.
Altaterra projesinde, Karabağlar gibi tarımsal kökenlere sahip bölgeler ve kentleşme alanları zamanla kendi kökenlerini bize hatırlatır; ancak yükselen kent yapısı ve artan nüfus, şehirdeki yaşam alanlarını kısıtlayarak bizi aynı mekânlara ve olanaklara sıkıştırır. Bu projede amaç, zamana karşı yükselen kente bir direnç oluşturmak, işlevsel ve herkes için erişilebilir alanlar yaratmaktır. Kentte farklı insan profilleri bir arada yaşarken, yapı herkesin faydalanabileceği ancak ayrışmış mekânsal kurgusu sayesinde çatışmaları azaltacak şekilde tasarlanmıştır. Yatay düzlemde kurgulanan yapı, şehirde kalan az sayıdaki boş alanın korunmasını önceliklendirir; büyüyen kent karşısında hissedilen baskıyı azaltırken, iç mekânda "küçük ama büyük" ilkesiyle yüksek yapıların sunduğu olanakları sağlar. Birleştirici yapısıyla erişimi kolaylaştıran bu yapı, zamanla bir çekim merkezi olma potansiyeli taşır ve kentin köklerini hatırlatarak birlikteliği ve işlevselliği bir araya getirir.
