We are sending off the newest graduates of the Department of Visual Communication Design into a design world that is in a constant state of change and transformation. While the social, cultural, technological, and environmental developments taking place in Türkiye and around the world often bring uncertainty and concern, the transformative and resilient power of creative thinking and the awareness and commitment of creative young people remain among our greatest sources of hope for the future. Drawing on their personal experiences, interests, emotions, and the knowledge they have gained throughout their education in our department, this year’s graduates have produced creative and compelling works across the diverse fields of visual communication design. Through a wide range of media and forms of expression, each has found a unique voice while once again demonstrating that design is a space for critical thinking, inquiry, and the imagining of new possibilities.

Today, design practice is evolving more rapidly than ever before. New technologies, emerging forms of communication, and changing responsibilities continue to reshape the work of designers. In this environment of constant transformation, the projects presented in this catalog reflect not only our students’ technical and creative abilities, but also their sensitivity to the world around them and their determination to cultivate distinctive perspectives of their own. I wish our graduates every success as they move forward, with the hope that they will continue to create and innovate with passion and creativity while remaining mindful of their responsibilities to society and the planet. I wish them all a wonderful future ahead. May their paths be bright and their journeys rewarding.

Görsel İletişim Tasarımı Bölümü’nün yeni mezunlarını sürekli değişen ve dönüşen bir tasarım dünyasına uğurluyoruz. Türkiye’de ve dünyada yaşanan toplumsal, kültürel, teknolojik ve çevresel gelişmeler zaman zaman belirsizlikleri ve endişeleri de beraberinde getirirken, yaratıcı düşüncenin dönüştürücü, dirençli gücü ve yaratıcı gençlerin bilinci geleceğe dair umudumuzu besleyen en önemli kaynaklardan olmaya devam ediyor. Bu yıl mezun olan öğrencilerimiz kişisel duygularından, ilgi alanlarından ve bölümümüzde kazandıkları deneyimlerinden yola çıkarak, görsel iletişim tasarımının çok çeşitli alanlarında yaratıcı ve etkileyici çalışmalar ortaya koydular. Her biri farklı mecralar ve anlatım biçimleri aracılığıyla kendi sesini duyururken, tasarımın düşünmeye, sorgulamaya ve yeni olasılıklar hayal etmeye açılan bir alan olduğunu da bizlere bir daha gösterdiler.

Bugün tasarım pratiği her zamankinden daha hızlı değişiyor, yeni teknolojiler, yeni iletişim biçimleri ve yeni sorumluluklar tasarımcıların çalışma alanlarını yeniden şekillendiriyor. Böylesi bir dönüşüm ortamında, bu katalogda yer alan çalışmalar, öğrencilerimizin yalnızca teknik ve yaratıcı yetkinliklerini değil, aynı zamanda dünyaya dair duyarlılıklarını ve kendi bakış açılarını geliştirme konusundaki kararlılıklarını da yansıtıyor. Yine ve yeniden tutkuyla ve yaratıcılıkla yenilikler üreten, topluma ve gezegenine duyarlı tasarımcılar olmaları ümidiyle yeni mezunlarımıza başarılar diliyor, hepsine şahane bir gelecek diliyorum. Yolları açık olsun.
