The landscape design and central courtyard, with areas like the sunken ship exploration area, create an engaging outdoor experience. The esplanade, with open-air exhibits and social spaces, enhances community involvement. The building follows sustainable architectural principles with natural ventilation, harmonizing with the environment.
İzmir’de bulunan Historical Maritime and Experience Museum, Ege kıyılarının köklü denizcilik tarihini teknoloji ile harmanlayarak, ziyaretçilerine unutulmaz bir deneyim sunan interaktif bir müze anlayışı benimsemektedir. Müze, nautical costume ve historical ship sergileriyle geçmişe bir yolculuk yapma imkanı tanırken, maritime technology exhibition alanı, tarihi ve teknolojiyi bir araya getirerek denizcilik mirasını canlı kılar. Maket yapım ve test atölyeleri ile gemi inşa tekniklerinin sergilendiği interaktif alanlar, bireysel ve toplumsal katılımı teşvik eden deneyimler sunar. Seminer odaları ve denizcilik arşiv kütüphanesi, müzenin eğitimsel fonksiyonlarını pekiştirirken, bilginin derinlemesine aktarılmasına katkıda bulunur. Peyzaj tasarımı ve merkezi avlu, sunken ship exploration area gibi kurgularla keşif dolu bir açık hava deneyimi yaşatırken, esplanade alanı, müzeye bağlı açık hava sergileri ve sosyal etkileşim imkânları ile topluluk katılımını artırır. Doğal havalandırma sistemleriyle desteklenen yapı, sürdürülebilir mimari ilkeleri benimseyen tasarım sunmaktadır.
