Nutriscape Araştırma Hastanesi, Urla'nın 2066 Biyo-Restorasyon Bölgesi'nde yer alan sentetik gıda kirliliği ve mikroplastiklerin küresel gıda sistemlerini çökerttiği ve temiz besine erişimi zorlaştırdığı “Büyük Toksisite” olarak adlandırılan 2066 küresel krizine yanıt vermektedir.
Temiz beslenmeye erişim giderek sınırlı hale geldikçe, güvenli gıda kaynaklarına ulaşabilen ve ulaşamayan nüfuslar arasında yeni sosyal eşitsizlikler ortaya çıkmaktadır. Hastane, sağlık hizmetleri, biyoteknoloji, beslenme ve ekolojik sistemleri birleştiren bir biyo-restorasyon sığınağı olarak işlev görmektedir.
Yapay zeka destekli teşhis, kişiselleştirilmiş metabolik tedaviler ve kontrollü gıda üretimi, entegre bir iyileştirme ortamı yaratmaktadır. Alanın tarihi karantina kimliğinden ilham alan proje, mimariyi hem insan sağlığını hem de gıda zincirinin geleceğini restore etmeye odaklanan aktif bir terapötik sisteme dönüştürmektedir.
In 2066, the “Great Toxicity” crisis has collapsed global food systems, exposing societies to extreme levels of synthetic contamination and microplastic accumulation. The Nutriscape Research Hospital, located in the Urla Bio-Restoration Zone, responds to this global crisis—referred to as the “Great Toxicity” in which synthetic food pollution and microplastics have severely disrupted food systems and made access to clean nutrition increasingly difficult.
As access to safe and clean food becomes more limited, new social inequalities emerge between populations that can and cannot reach secure food sources. The hospital functions as a bio-restorative sanctuary that integrates healthcare, biotechnology, nutrition, and ecological systems.
AI-supported diagnostics, personalized metabolic treatments, and controlled food production create an integrated healing environment. Inspired by the site’s historical identity as a quarantine zone, the project transforms architecture into an active therapeutic system focused on restoring both human health and the future of the food chain.
