KARANTINA FOODSCAPE 2066, Karantina Adası’nı iklim kaynaklı gıda krizlerine yanıt veren dirençli bir kıyı foodscape’i olarak yeniden kurgular. 2066 yılında yükselen deniz seviyesi, kaynak kıtlığı ve çevresel belirsizlikler, kentsel gıda üretimini yerelleşmiş ve adaptif sistemlere yöneltir. Proje, adayı gıda üretimi, mutfak eğitimi, araştırma ve kamusal gastronominin kesintisiz bir mekânsal ve ekolojik sistem oluşturduğu bütüncül bir yenilebilir peyzaja dönüştürür. Mimari, avlu sistemi ve peyzaj ağı içine yerleşen düşük yoğunluklu pavyon yapılar üzerinden örgütlenir ve iç-dış mekân sürekliliği ile iklime duyarlı bir yapılaşma kurar. Bağımsız programlar yerine, mimarlık, peyzaj ve gıda süreçlerinin birleştiği bütüncül bir sistem önerilerek gıda, hem mekânsal kurucu hem de kamusal etkileşim unsuru haline getirilir.
KARANTINA FOODSCAPE 2066 reimagines Karantina Island as a resilient coastal foodscape responding to future climate-driven food crises. By 2066, rising sea levels, resource scarcity, and environmental instability redefine urban food systems, requiring localized, adaptive, and research-based production models. The project transforms the island into an integrated edible landscape where food production, culinary education, research, and public gastronomy operate as a continuous spatial and ecological system. Architecture is organized through low-rise pavilion structures embedded within a courtyard and landscape network, creating strong indoor–outdoor continuity and climate-responsive spatial conditions. Rather than isolated programs, the project proposes a unified food environment where architecture, landscape, and food processes merge, turning food into both spatial structure and social interface within a Mediterranean coastal context.
