hArmed and Ready explores psychological violence within intimate environments, focusing on defensive identities shaped under prolonged emotional pressure. The project investigates how strength and control transform into carefully sustained performances. Hard surfaces fracture, composure destabilizes, revealing the conflict between restraint and eruption hArmed and Ready reflects a body disciplined to appear powerful, yet unable to permanently suppress what accumulates beneath its surface. Underneath these rigid exteriors exist unprocessed emotions swept beneath the surface until they begin to distort the self from within. Sharpness becomes both protection and danger; emotional survival creates surfaces that appear untouchable, yet remain fragile enough to wound both the self and others upon contact. The tension between delicacy and violence runs through, where beauty, seduction, and femininity are complicated by emotional unrest and internal chaos. Through sculptural forms and controlled disruption, the project visualizes internal chaos hidden beneath performed strength and questions the psychological cost of constant self-defense.
hArmed and Ready, yakın ilişkiler ve içsel alanlarda ortaya çıkan psikolojik şiddeti, uzun süreli duygusal baskı altında oluşan savunma kimlikleri üzerinden ele alır. Proje, güç ve kontrolün zamanla nasıl dikkatle sürdürülen bir performansa dönüştüğünü inceler. Sert yüzeyler kırılır, duruş çözülür ve böylece bastırma ile taşma arasındaki gerilim görünür hale gelir. hArmed and Ready, güçlü görünmeye koşullandırılmış bir bedeni temsil eder; ancak bu güç imgesi, yüzeyin altında birikenleri tamamen bastıramaz.Bu sert dış yüzeylerin altında, bastırılmış ve işlenmemiş duygular zamanla birikir ve benliği içeriden dönüştürmeye başlar. Keskinlik hem bir korunma biçimine hem de bir tehdit unsuruna dönüşür; duygusal hayatta kalma mekanizması, temas ettiğinde hem kendini hem de karşısındakini yaralayabilecek kırılgan yüzeyler üretir. Hassasiyet ile şiddet arasındaki gerilim; görünür olma, kontrolü sürdürme ve kimliği koruma çabası üzerinden ilerler. Heykelsi formlar ve kontrollü bozulmalar aracılığıyla proje, performe edilen gücün arkasında gizlenen içsel çatışmayı görünür kılar ve sürekli kendini savunma halinin psikolojik bedelini sorgular.
