Core Psychology Center

The Core Psychology Center is a spatial response to the growing sense of aimlessness in contemporary life. Located within the existing structure of the Bursa Tofaş Museum, the project transforms an industrial shell into a two-level psychological renewal center. The design proposes a 21-day journey that guides users through the stages of “grounding,” “reflection,” and “immersion,” encouraging them to reconnect with themselves and rediscover a sense of purpose. Through the integration of digital experiences, therapeutic spaces, and introspective environments, the center creates a balance between stimulation and stillness. Material contrasts, controlled lighting, and layered spatial transitions reinforce this emotional journey. Rather than offering a temporary escape, the project aims to foster deeper awareness, helping individuals rediscover clarity, direction, and inner balance within an increasingly fragmented world.
Core Psychology Center, çağdaş yaşamda giderek artan amaçsızlık hissine mekânsal bir yanıt olarak tasarlanmıştır. Bursa Tofaş Muzesi’nin mevcut yapısı içinde konumlanan proje, endüstriyel bir kabuğu iki katlı bir psikolojik yenilenme merkezine dönüştürmektedir. Tasarım, kullanıcıyı “grounding”, “reflection” ve “immersion” aşamalarından geçirerek kendisiyle yeniden bağlantı kurmasını ve amaç duygusunu yeniden keşfetmesini sağlayan 21 günlük bir deneyim önerir. Dijital deneyimler, terapi alanları ve içe dönük mekânların bir araya gelmesiyle merkez, uyarılma ve durgunluk arasında dengeli bir atmosfer oluşturur. Malzeme kontrastları, kontrollü aydınlatma ve katmanlı mekânsal geçişler bu duygusal yolculuğu destekler. Proje, geçici bir kaçış sunmaktan ziyade daha derin bir farkındalık geliştirmeyi amaçlar; bireylerin giderek daha parçalanmış bir dünyada netlik, yön duygusu ve içsel dengeyi yeniden keşfetmelerine yardımcı olur.
