INTERVAL is a yacht interior design project that explores the loss of time perception in contemporary life. In a world shaped by acceleration, digital routines, and disconnection from natural cycles, the project proposes the yacht as a spatial threshold where time can be felt again. The design focuses on creating moments of pause, awareness, and sensory connection through light, material, rhythm, and spatial sequencing. Each deck represents a different layer of temporal experience: silence and preparation, lived awareness, collective rhythm, and freedom beyond time. Circular forms, flowing transitions, natural textures, and sea-oriented spaces support the concept of reconnecting with inner rhythm and the changing movement of the sea. INTERVAL aims to transform the yacht from a luxury object into an experiential environment where time is not only measured, but lived.
INTERVAL, çağdaş yaşamda kaybolan zaman algısını yat iç mekânı üzerinden yeniden yorumlayan bir tasarım projesidir. Hız, dijital rutinler ve doğal döngülerden kopuşla şekillenen günümüz yaşamına karşı proje, yatı zamanın yeniden hissedilebildiği bir eşik mekan olarak ele alır. Tasarım; ışık, malzeme, ritim ve mekânsal geçişler aracılığıyla durma, farkındalık ve duyusal bağ kurma deneyimleri yaratmayı hedefler. Her güverte zaman deneyiminin farklı bir katmanını temsil eder: sessizlik ve hazırlık, yaşanan zaman, kolektif ritim ve zamanın ötesinde özgürleşme. Dairesel formlar, akışkan geçişler, doğal dokular ve denize yönelen mekânlar, kullanıcının iç ritmiyle ve denizin değişken hareketiyle yeniden bağ kurmasını destekler. INTERVAL, yatı yalnızca lüks bir nesne değil, zamanın ölçülmekten çok yaşandığı deneyimsel bir mekân olarak kurgular.
