Floating Aegean is a 2050 floating restaurant concept that reconnects people with the sea by transforming dining into a multi-sensory experience rooted in Aegean culture. The project proposes a future where gastronomy, technology, and marine ecology merge within a mobile hospitality platform located in the Aegean Sea. The structure is conceived as a floating ecosystem that integrates AI-supported systems, sustainable food production, and real-time environmental awareness. Inspired by the movement of ocean waves and the traditions of Aegean coastal life, the design reinterprets local culinary culture through a contemporary spatial language where food becomes a sensory bridge between humans and nature. Natural materials, fluid geometries, soft lighting, and panoramic sea connections create a calm and immersive atmosphere while supporting social interaction and sustainability.
Floating Aegean, yeme deneyimini Ege kültürüyle bütünleşen çok duyulu bir yolculuğa dönüştürerek insanları denizle yeniden buluşturan 2050 temalı yüzen restoran konseptidir. Proje, gastronomi, teknoloji ve deniz ekolojisinin Ege Denizi’nde konumlanan hareketli bir misafirperverlik platformunda birleştiği bir gelecek senaryosu sunar. Yapı; yapay zekâ destekli sistemler, sürdürülebilir gıda üretimi ve gerçek zamanlı çevresel farkındalık ile kurgulanmış bir yüzen ekosistemdir. Okyanus dalgalarının hareketi ve Ege kıyı yaşamının geleneklerinden ilham alan tasarım, yerel mutfak kültürünü çağdaş bir mekânsal dil ile yeniden yorumlar ve yemeği insan ile doğa arasında duyusal bir köprüye dönüştürür. Doğal malzemeler, akışkan geometriler, yumuşak aydınlatma ve panoramik deniz manzaraları sakin ve kapsayıcı bir atmosfer oluşturur.
