Threads of Memory

Threads of Memory is an immersive exhibition design project that explores the relationship between memory, identity, and fashion through spatial storytelling. The exhibition transforms garments, textiles, and archival materials into narrative elements that guide visitors through emotional and historical layers of remembrance. Through curated display zones, interactive digital screens, mannequins, projection surfaces, and atmospheric lighting, the space creates a sensory journey where fashion becomes a medium of memory preservation. The design emphasizes circulation, materiality, and experiential engagement, allowing visitors to interact with garments not only as objects but as carriers of personal and collective histories. By integrating contemporary exhibition strategies with immersive interior architecture, the project aims to reinterpret museum experiences and establish an emotional dialogue between the visitor, the space, and the exhibited artifacts.
Threads of Memory, hafıza, kimlik ve moda arasındaki ilişkiyi mekânsal hikâye anlatımı aracılığıyla inceleyen deneyim odaklı bir sergi tasarımı projesidir. Sergi, giysileri, tekstilleri ve arşiv materyallerini ziyaretçiyi duygusal ve tarihsel bir hatırlama yolculuğuna çıkaran anlatı öğelerine dönüştürmektedir. Küratöryel sergileme alanları, interaktif dijital ekranlar, mankenler, projeksiyon yüzeyleri ve atmosferik aydınlatma kullanılarak çok duyulu bir deneyim oluşturulmaktadır. Tasarım; sirkülasyon, malzeme kullanımı ve deneyimsel etkileşimi ön plana çıkararak ziyaretçilerin giysileri yalnızca nesne olarak değil, kişisel ve kolektif hafızanın taşıyıcıları olarak algılamasını hedeflemektedir. Çağdaş sergileme stratejileri ile iç mekân mimarlığını birleştiren proje, müze deneyimini yeniden yorumlayarak ziyaretçi, mekân ve sergilenen objeler arasında duygusal bir bağ kurmayı amaçlamaktadır.
