Atelier Nova is a space designed for people who still want to create, make art, and practice craftsmanship with their own hands in 2065, when almost everything is produced by artificial intelligence. The project offers an environment where users can directly engage with materials, physically experience the process of making, and continue their own crafts. Developed through the adaptive reuse of the Bursa Tofaş industrial building, this space combines the idea of production from the past with the needs of the future. Here, artificial intelligence is understood not as something that replaces humans, but as a tool that supports the process. The main aim of Atelier Nova is to create a place where handcraft, personal production, and the physical act of making still retain their value in a highly advanced technological future, where artificial intelligence is used as a tool rather than an end in itself.
Atelier Nova, 2065 yılında neredeyse her şeyin yapay zekâ tarafından üretildiği bir dünyada, hâlâ kendi elleriyle üretmek, sanat yapmak ve zanaatla uğraşmak isteyen insanlar için tasarlanmış bir mekândır. Proje, kullanıcıların malzemelerle doğrudan etkileşim kurabildiği, üretim sürecini fiziksel olarak deneyimleyebildiği ve kendi zanaatlarını sürdürebildiği bir ortam sunmaktadır. Bursa Tofaş Museum endüstri yapısının adaptif yeniden kullanımıyla geliştirilen bu mekân, geçmişten gelen üretim fikrini geleceğin ihtiyaçlarıyla bir araya getirir. Burada yapay zekâ, insanın yerini alan bir unsur olarak değil, üretim sürecini destekleyen bir araç olarak ele alınmaktadır. Atelier Nova’nın temel amacı, teknolojinin son derece geliştiği bir gelecekte bile el emeğinin, kişisel üretimin ve fiziksel üretim sürecinin değerini koruduğu; yapay zekânın ise amaç değil, bir araç olarak kullanıldığı bir alan oluşturmaktır.
