Addressing the common barriers in the market, such as bulky structure, complicated rigging, and the need for trailers, this design offers a flexible alternative for hobbyists, families, and urban users with limited storage space. The boat combines rigid and inflatable components, allowing it to be packed into a small car and assembled in under 20 minutes. With user-oriented features like tool-free assembly, lightweight construction, and balanced performance, Betta invites a wider audience to engage with sailing without logistical stress. By blending thoughtful design with playful spirit, this project introduces a new product to the market and reimagines how and where people can connect with wind and water.
Betta, yelken tutkusunu daha erişilebilir, taşınabilir ve başlangıç seviyesine uygun hale getirmek amacıyla tasarlanmış kompakt ve katlanabilir bir hobi yelkenlisidir. Piyasada sıkça karşılaşılan; büyük gövde yapısı, karmaşık yelken donanımı ve römork ihtiyacı gibi engellere çözüm sunar. Hobi amaçlı kullanıcılar, aileler ve sınırlı depolama alanına sahip şehirli kullanıcılar için esnek bir alternatif sunar. Katı ve şişirilebilir bileşenlerin bir araya gelmesiyle tasarlanan bu tekne, ortalama bir otomobilin bagajına sığabilir ve 20 dakikadan kısa sürede kurulabilir.
