Border Point is a graphic novel that tells the story of Eris, a young woman neglected by her family and handed over to the Joker as a test subject. Rather than surrendering to her traumas and Joker’s control, Eris initiates a quiet yet collective resistance. Along her escape, the women she encounters share their own stories, revealing the widespread oppression faced by women in society and influencing Eris’s transformation. Border Point reminds us that these forms of systemic violence are neither distant nor rare. It emphasizes that the only way to overcome social oppression is through collective action, showing that no one is truly alone or powerless. Through a symbolic, dystopian narrative, the story transforms silence into a powerful form of resistance and invites the viewer to witness and join that resistance.
Border Point, ailesi tarafından ihmal edilen ve Joker’e deney faresi olarak verilen Eris’in hikâyesini anlatan bir çizgi romandır. Çocukluğu travmalarla geçen Eris, acılarına ve Joker’in baskısına boyun eğmek yerine sessiz ve kolektif bir direniş başlatır. Kaçışı sırasında karşılaştığı kadınların hikâyeleri, hem toplumun kadınlar üzerindeki baskılarını görünür kılar hem de Eris’in dönüşümüne katkı sağlar.
