Reflecting Anatomy
This project is an information design study based on the rhinoplasty technique called “Teostrut.” The project explores how the same medical knowledge can be transformed according to different target audiences. Within the scope of the study, two separate books were designed: one for patients and one for surgeons. The patient-oriented book functions as a guide that aims to reduce anxiety, stress, and uncertainty by presenting the surgical process in a clear and reassuring way. The surgeon-oriented book focuses on technical details, structural analysis, and professional decision-making processes related to the operation. Although both publications are based on the same medical reality, their visual language, typography, content structure, and information hierarchy are redesigned according to the psychological and professional needs of each audience. The project aims to demonstrate that information design is not only about transferring knowledge, but also about shaping human experience.

Bu proje, “Teostrut” adlı Rinoplasti tekniğini temel alan bir bilgi tasarımı çalışmasıdır. Çalışmanın amacı, aynı tıbbi bilginin hedef kitleye göre nasıl farklı biçimlerde aktarılması gerektiğini incelemektir. Proje kapsamında iki ayrı kitap tasarlanmıştır: biri hastalar, diğeri ise cerrahlar için hazırlanmıştır. Hasta odaklı kitap, ameliyat sürecini daha anlaşılır hale getirerek kaygı, stres ve belirsizlik duygusunu azaltmayı hedefleyen rehber niteliğinde bir içerik sunmaktadır. Cerrahlar için hazırlanan kitap ise operasyonun teknik detaylarına, yapısal analizlerine ve profesyonel karar süreçlerine odaklanmaktadır. Her iki yayında da aynı tıbbi gerçeklik korunurken; görsel dil, tipografi, içerik yapısı ve bilgi hiyerarşisi hedef kitlenin psikolojik ve mesleki ihtiyaçlarına göre yeniden şekillendirilmiştir. Proje, bilginin yalnızca aktarılmadığını, aynı zamanda deneyim tasarladığını göstermeyi amaçlamaktadır.
