The Memory Keeper's Handbook
“The Memory Keeper's Handbook” is an interactive pop-up book that transforms Bergama’s cultural landscape into an experience for children aged 8–10. The project’s central premise is that historical heritage does not remain confined to museums but lives on in everyday objects and neighborhood walls. By bringing Bergama’s nature to life on paper, this work transforms the child from a passive reader into an active “Memory Keeper” who discovers and preserves the city’s interwoven narratives. Guided by the curious hero Atlas, children embark on a journey that begins inside an old house tucked away between the streets and extends all the way to the Acropolis at the city’s highest point. Along the way, they follow the whispers of ancient stones in pursuit of crafts and family heirlooms. The project aims to carry the heritage, which is on the verge of being lost, to future generations and ensure it can be passed on to those who come after them.

"Hafıza Koruyucusu El Kitabı", Bergama'nın kültürel peyzajını 8-10 yaş arası çocuklar için bir deneyime dönüştüren interaktif bir pop-up kitaptır. Projenin temel argümanı, tarihsel mirasın sadece müzelere hapsolmayıp günlük objelerde ve mahalle duvarlarında yaşadığıdır. Bergama'nın doğasını kağıt ile fizikselleştiren bu çalışma, çocuğu pasif bir okuyucudan, şehrin iç içe geçmiş anlatılarını keşfeden ve koruyan aktif bir "Hafıza Koruyucusu"na dönüştürür. Meraklı kahraman Atlas rehberliğinde; sokak arasındaki eski bir evin içerisinden başlayıp Akropol'e şehrin en tepesine uzanan bu yolculukta çocuklar, antik taşların fısıltısını takip ederek zanaatların ve aile yadigarı objelerin peşine düşerler. Kurgulanan proje, kaybolmaya yüz tutmuş mirası gelecek nesillere taşımayı ve onlardan sonra gelenlere de aktarabilmesini amaçlar.
