Noven, the form language of the Blue Tech & Robotics Lab is inspired by data matrices and Aztec barcodes commonly used in robotics. The data matrix informs the plan layout, reflecting processes like sensor data collection, mapping, and AI learning. Aztec barcodes guide the façade and landscape organization, symbolizing dense information capacity within compact spaces.The structure’s sharp geometries echo robotic systems’ navigation and recognition algorithms. Located along the İzmir coastline, this research center transforms technological data into architectural form, offering users a smart, flexible, and living research environment. As a physical reflection of the digital, the building not only produces but also analyzes.
Noven, Blue Tech & Ocean Robotics Lab’in form dili, robotikte kullanılan veri matrisi ve Aztec barkodlarından ilham alır. Veri matrisi, yapının plan düzenini belirlerken; sensör verisi, haritalama ve yapay zekâ süreçlerini yansıtır. Aztec barkodları ise cephe ve çevre düzenine yön verir; küçük alanlarda yoğun veri taşıma kapasitesiyle mimaride bilgi yoğunluğunu temsil eder. Yapının keskin geometrileri, robotik sistemlerin yönlenme ve tanıma algoritmalarını çağrıştırır. İzmir kıyısında konumlanan bu merkez, teknolojik veriyi mimari forma dönüştürerek kullanıcılarına akıllı, esnek ve yaşamsal bir araştırma ortamı sunar. Dijitalin fizikseldeki yansıması olarak, bina hem üretir hem de analiz eder.
