Located next to Uğur Mumcu Park in Karabağlar, İzmir, this architectural project aims to enrich social life by directly engaging with the community. It takes a stand against social degeneration by promoting engagement with art and craft. The project includes dance and music education rooms, rehearsal studios, ceramic and handcraft workshops, multipurpose halls, a theater stage, exhibition areas, and open-air event spaces. With a diverse program that appeals to various age and interest groups, the project encourages active participation and serves as a cultural hub at the neighborhood scale. Supporting artistic production and expression, the structure offers a creative meeting point within the city and aims to strengthen the community’s cultural memory. In doing so, it establishes a public space that fosters social interaction and cultural continuity.
İzmir Karabağlar Uğur Mumcu Parkı yanında konumlanan bu mimari proje, doğrudan insanlara ulaşarak sosyal yaşamlarını zenginleştirmeyi hedeflemektedir. Proje, toplumsal yozlaşmaya karşı bir duruş sergileyerek, bireyleri sanat ve zanaatla buluşturmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu doğrultuda dans ve müzik eğitim sınıfları, prova stüdyoları, seramik ve el sanatları atölyeleri, çok amaçlı salonlar, tiyatro sahnesi, sergi alanları ve açık hava etkinlik mekânları yer alır. Farklı yaş ve ilgi gruplarına hitap eden çok yönlü programıyla proje, kullanıcıların aktif katılımını teşvik ederken, aynı zamanda mahalle ölçeğinde bir kültür odağı haline gelmektedir. Sanatsal üretimi ve paylaşımı destekleyen bu yapı, kent içinde yaratıcı bir buluşma noktası sunarak toplumun kültürel belleğini güçlendirmeyi amaçlar. Böylece proje, sosyal etkileşimi ve kültürel sürekliliği destekleyen kamusal bir alan oluşturur.
