This unique art center brings the mystery of the undersea world to the surface with paintings and sculptures created by following the traces of underwater creatures exhibited here only. The form of the structure was shaped by transforming the growth algorithms of the Tubipora musica (organ pipe coral) species into an architectural language. Organic and fluid masses were placed in the landscape with a plan structure that evokes the complex order of nature. The broken-surface roof system that covers the entire structure like a shell serves as a characteristic cover that both unites the interior spaces and creates a strong exterior silhouette. This center, which makes its visitors feel the magic of the underwater world both visually and intellectually, is positioned as a unique stop at the intersection of nature and art.
Bu eşsiz sanat merkezi, yalnızca burada sergilenen su altı yaratıklarının izinden gidilerek oluşturulmuş resim ve heykellerle denizaltı dünyasının gizemini yüzeye taşıyor. Yapının formu, Tubipora musica (org borusu mercanı) türünün büyüme algoritmalarının mimari bir dile dönüştürülmesiyle şekillendi. Organik ve akışkan kütleler, doğanın karmaşık düzenini çağrıştıran plan kurgusuyla peyzaja yerleştirildi. Tüm yapıyı adeta bir kabuk gibi örten kırık yüzeyli çatı sistemi ise, hem iç mekânları birleştiren hem de güçlü bir dış siluet oluşturan karakteristik bir örtü görevi görüyor. Ziyaretçilerine hem görsel hem düşünsel olarak su altı dünyasının büyüsünü hissettiren bu merkez, doğa ve sanatın kesişiminde özgün bir durak olarak konumlanıyor.
