Public Social Platform: A Therapeutic Youth and Cultural Center

Bu proje, genç bireylerin sosyal izolasyon, üretim eksikliği ve zihinsel destek ihtiyacına yanıt veren katmanlı bir kamusal iyileşme merkezi olarak tasarlanmıştır. Zemin kat, fuaye, kafe, sergi alanı, çok amaçlı salon ve yarı açık avlu ile kente açık davetkâr bir sosyal platform oluşturur. Üst katlarda kültürel üretim, atölyeler, ortak çalışma alanları, danışmanlık odaları, grup terapi mekânları ve sakinleşme odaları yer alır. Teraslar yalnızca açık alan olarak değil, nefes alma, buluşma, üretme ve rahatlama için terapötik eşikler olarak kullanılır. Yapı, kamusal karşılaşmadan kişisel iyileşmeye doğru kademeli bir mekânsal geçiş önerir. Amaç, kullanıcıların kendilerini güvende hissedebileceği, birlikte üretebileceği ve gündelik yaşam içinde destek alabileceği esnek, kapsayıcı ve duyarlı bir çevre oluşturmaktır.
This project is designed as a layered public healing center that responds to young people’s needs for social connection, creative production, and mental support. The ground floor forms an inviting urban platform with a foyer, cafe, exhibition area, multipurpose hall, and semi-open courtyard. The upper levels gradually introduce cultural production spaces, workshops, co-working areas, counseling rooms, group therapy spaces, and quiet retreat rooms. Terraces are treated not as secondary open spaces, but as therapeutic thresholds for breathing, gathering, creating, and decompression. The building proposes a gradual spatial transition from public encounter to personal healing. Its main aim is to create a flexible, inclusive, and sensitive environment where users can feel safe, produce together, and receive support as part of everyday life.
