The Loop is a speculative museum project that explores addiction and play culture through spatial experience. Located within a historic industrial shell, the design creates a narrative journey that reflects the psychological mechanisms of casino environments. The project is structured into three main zones: entrance, labyrinth, and awareness. The entrance introduces visitors to the seductive atmosphere of gambling through digital and immersive elements. The labyrinth represents disorientation, repetition, and loss of control using fragmented circulation and limited visual connections. Finally, the awareness zone provides a contrasting space of clarity and reflection, emphasizing recovery and consciousness. By combining historical context with futuristic interventions such as holograms and interactive media, the project critiques how space can manipulate behavior and perception, transforming architecture into a tool for both control and awareness.
The Loop, bağımlılık ve oyun kültürünü mekânsal deneyim üzerinden ele alan spekülatif bir müze projesidir. Tarihi bir endüstriyel yapı içerisinde konumlanan tasarım, casino mekânlarının psikolojik mekanizmalarını yansıtan anlatısal bir mekânsal yolculuk kurgular. Proje; giriş, labirent ve farkındalık olmak üzere üç ana bölümden oluşur. Giriş alanı, dijital ve immersive öğeler aracılığıyla ziyaretçiyi kumar dünyasının çekici atmosferiyle tanıştırır. Labirent bölümü, parçalı dolaşım ve sınırlı görsel bağlantılar kullanarak yön kaybı, tekrar ve kontrol kaybı hissini temsil eder. Son olarak farkındalık alanı, iyileşme ve bilinçlenmeyi vurgulayan, açıklık ve içsel düşünme hissi sunan zıt bir mekânsal deneyim oluşturur. Tarihi bağlamı hologramlar ve interaktif medya gibi futuristik müdahalelerle birleştiren proje, mekânın davranış ve algıyı nasıl yönlendirebildiğini eleştirerek mimarlığı hem kontrol hem de farkındalık için bir araca dönüştürmektedir.
